More than you think – Werner Schroeder

152 x 228, 150p.

We tend to begin conversations about spiritual gifts by asking: What is my gift? Where do I fit? What should I be doing? But the New Testament begins somewhere else. It begins with Christ.

In More Than You Think, Presbyterian minister Werner Schroeder explores how the risen Christ shares his life with his people through the Holy Spirit. Drawing especially on Romans 12, 1 Corinthians 12-14 and Ephesians 4, he considers spiritual gifts not as markers of status or merely personal abilities, but as expressions of grace given for the good of the whole Church.

The book explores how grace is received and shared, how love gives gifts their proper shape, and how the Spirit forms a people growing together in maturity and peace.

Written for ordinary Christians, small groups and church leaders, More Than You Think invites readers to recognise the grace of Christ at work in people and places we might otherwise overlook.
