Étienne was born in the year that South Africa became a republic, 1961 at the South Western tip of the continent of Africa in the Cape Peninsula not more than 15 kilometres from the world-famous Table Mountain, overlooking Cape Town and the Atlantic Ocean. After matriculating he moved 1450 kilometres north to Kempton Park, Johannesburg where he is staying ever since.
He is a gifted pianist and has been ministering music in churches since the age of 10, but in his everyday life he puts up steel structures. His real passion however, is to get behind the truth concerning the Word of God.
