What an awesome privilege and also responsibility it is to be given the task to establish the kingdom of the Creator of the universe, the Almighty God, on earth. God could have chosen and equipped only a select few people for the task of bringing His reign on earth, but instead God purposed each and every believer (kingdom citizen) to play a role in establishing and expanding His kingdom on earth. The kingdom starts within us and then needs to work through us into all areas of life on earth. The cross cleansed us so we can receive the Holy Spirit in us, which is the promise of the New Covenant and kingdom life. It is therefore critical for every believer to have a clear understanding of the kingdom of God in order to live a purposeful and successful life on earth, in the here and now.
